Job Specifics
- OSF SFMC Cancer Services, within the Cancer Institute seeks an APP to assist female patients with intimacy issues post treatment for cancer. Intimacy concerns are noted as a major source of distress amongst cancer survivors.
- Implemented in 2020, SFMC is the only healthcare facility offering this type of clinic.
- This APP will work in a multidisciplinary approach with counselors, pelvic floor therapists, and survivorship team to determine the best plan to assist with side effect post treatment
- Schedule is currently on Thursday afternoons 1-4:30 twice a month with the ability to increase hours/days as the clinic grows; no calls, no weekends

POSITION SUMMARY: According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
