POSITION SUMMARY: The Children's Hospital of Illinois (CHOI) President serves as the leader of the Children's Hospital of Illinois to ensure the organization operates in a fiscally responsible manner to optimally execute on the Ministry (OSF HealthCare) strategy and Women & Children's Service Line strategy. The CHOI President oversees all internal operations of the Children's Hospital of Illinois while developing and implementing short-term tactics within the long-term strategies of the Women & Children's Service Line that provide high quality and cost effective health care to children and families.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Science, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Experience: 7 years of leadership in a children's hospital setting, with progressively increasing responsibility.
Licensure/ Certification: Current licensure in IL within the candidate's clinical area of expertise (if applicable).
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration Health Science or Business.
Experience: 10 years of leadership in a children's hospital setting, with progressively increasing responsibility.
Licensure/ Certification: N/A
