SUMMARY

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will oversee in the day-to-day accounting activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll for Morton Industries LLC and its subsidiaries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Train and oversee the Accounts payable function.
• Train and oversee the Accounts receivable function.
• Partner with HR to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in month end general ledger close.
• Analyze accounts receivable balances and oversee collection efforts.
• Assist Controller in development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• B.S. Degree in Accounting or related field. Non-related degrees may be considered with relevant accounting or finance experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Experience working in manufacturing with a GL-integrated ERP system preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in accounting

High level of proficiency using spreadsheet applications such as Excel, including the use of pivot
