Morton Buildings, Inc.’s corporate Morton Post-Frame Supply group, located in Morton, Illinois, is offering a paid student internship during the summer. The internship program will provide the student with on-the-job training to develop relevant skills aligned with their current course of study.
This is a paid internship starting at $18.00 per hour. The internship opportunity is located on-site in Morton, IL.
Essential Functions
- Work directly with a mentor in your field of study.
- Work on a team and individually on key projects.
- Interact directly with Morton Post-Frame Supply team management on strategy and projects.
- Provide updates, written or verbal, on project status to various members of the Morton Post-Frame Supply team.
- Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance.
- Participate in related team or project meetings and conference calls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Targeted Graduation date during the 2026/2027 school year or students completing schooling at the end of 2026 but still needing to satisfy an internship requirement.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline
- Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
- Must be highly motivated with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
- Self-starter with a positive, willing to learn attitude.
- Able to work independently, as well as able to work well in a team setting.
- Service minded with excellent communication and solid documentation skills.
- Comfortable learning and using new computer systems and skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data when problem solving.
