Carle Health is seeking an additional Advanced Practice Provider to join our Urgent Care team in Peoria, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- PRN position with options for weekday, weeknight, or weekends shifts
- As-Needed/PRN opportunity filling holes in the schedule
- 7 locations: 4 First Care and 3 Express clinics
- First Care clinics have double coverage and Express clinics have single coverage
- Limited lab and X-ray on site
- Flexible hours depending upon needs: includes days, evenings, and weekends; no call requirement
- Clinic hours are 8am-8pm; Express Clinics are open 365 days per year
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
- Average patients/day: varies but around 20-25 patients
- Providers are asked to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per month in order to maintain Clinic privileges
Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- Prior experience as a Provider in Urgent Care/Walk In or Family Medicine required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
