The major function of this position is:
To be an integral part of daily production, provide support to supervisor, manage workflow, provide training and guidance of team. Receive, replenish, and perform all put away activities for all material types. Be a role model of Aloha attitude and performance.
Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday
Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.50
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide 100% customer satisfaction on replenishment orders picked, put away accuracy, inbound turn times met, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Partner with Supervisor and co-leads on workflow, coordinate and assign daily job responsibilities for inbound receiving, internal replenishments, put aways, and picking to ensure the department goals are met.
Proactively communicate any issues relating to our service commitments with Supervisor and co-leads.
Provide team support and leadership by being the first line of contact for employee concerns.
Ensure team members are meeting company and department expectations by providing them with daily feedback, as well as discussing production reports with them as mapped out by supervisor.
Communicate and escalate any issues requiring the direction of the Supervisor i.e., behavior or production issues, employee relations issues, etc.
Train and cross train new and existing employees to ensure all department standards are met.
Ensure all training SOP materials are maintained and readily available for team.
Partner with the Supervisor to develop a fair and effective rotation schedule for the team, that includes the lead role in production at least 6 hrs. per day.
Backup any positions within the inbound functions and maintain production standards.
Assist with as needed daily Cycle Count Process and inventory validation processes.
Be seen as one of the “go-to” people for the team and assist with day-to-day communications across the logistics group.
Provide input on process improvement ideas.
OTHER DUTIES:
Assist with reporting duties, as requested.
Serve as a role model for performance and morale of the department.
Perform other work-related duties as requested and required.
Special Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate warehouse material handling equipment
Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings
Ability to move at a fast pace.
Ability to utilize a PC and perform data entry.
Ability to lift 40 lbs independently.
Ability to pick orders off the shelf.
Ability to drive company vehicles.
Ability to train, test and obtain Class C Driver’s license required.
Desired Qualifications
As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:
High school graduate. 3-4 years’ experience in warehousing. Customer service experience is a plus. SAP knowledge of inventory movements. Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliations, and research. Training and leadership experience is preferred.
