The major function of this position is:

The Talent Acquisition Partner serves as a strategic partner, collaborating closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand current and future talent needs. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously refining a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy. This strategy encompasses internal mobility, external talent acquisition, and ongoing process improvements, ultimately delivering high-quality candidates to respective business units. The Talent Acquisition Partner drives all full-cycle recruiting activities.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000

Essential Duties:

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing and screening to interviewing, candidate selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding, for positions ranging from entry-level to experienced professional levels.

  • Design and implement proactive recruitment strategies, leveraging a variety of sourcing channels and techniques to identify and attract top-tier talent.

  • Work directly with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to ensure seamless execution of recruitment, selection, interviewing, and onboarding practices.

  • Provide a best-in-class experience for both candidates and hiring managers through consistent communication, proactive relationship building, and efficient execution of the recruitment process.

  • Ensure all recruitment and hiring practices are conducted in accordance with federal and state employment laws, maintaining fair employment practices.

  • Select and qualify candidates based on skill set, cultural fit, and motivational alignment, utilizing a behavioral-based approach and established screening criteria.

  • Promote [Company Name]'s employer brand by cultivating relationships at the high school and college levels, participating in job fairs, community chamber events, and other networking opportunities to attract top talent.

  • Develop and maintain a strong network of external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates across various business units.

  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including preparing and posting job advertisements, screening applicants, scheduling interviews for hiring managers, and participating in the initial selection process. This includes opening, tracking, and closing positions within the ATS.

  • Build and maintain methods for reporting, analyzing, and communicating key talent acquisition metrics, including open positions, workforce numbers, key skills and abilities (KSA), retention rates, and time-to-fill.

  • Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques, candidate evaluation, and selection best practices.

  • Manage the onboarding process, supporting new hires through their orientation period and collaborating with leaders to implement effective onboarding approaches.

  • Manage and select vendors related to talent acquisition activities.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters pertaining to recruitment, compensation, and other sensitive human resource information.

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred not required.

  • 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment

  • Experience recruiting for a variety of roles and levels, from entry-level to executive.

  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders.

  • Understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.

  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse).

  • Ability to analyze data, track metrics, and generate reports related to talent acquisition activities.

  • Understanding of employer branding principles and ability to promote the company as an employer of choice.

  • This position operates in a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.

  • Ability to key data into a computer for extended periods of time

  • Ability to utilize a PC

  • Ability to travel as requested
