The major function of this position is:
To be an integral part of daily production, provide support to supervisor, manage workflow, provide training and guidance of team. Pick, pack, ship, and lead special project work. Be a role model of Aloha attitude and performance. Work closely with co-leads in support of team goals.

Hourly Range: $21-$23/ hour

The principal responsibilities and duties of this position are:

  • Provide both external and internal customers with 100% satisfaction on all orders picked, packed, and shipped.

  • Partner with Supervisor and co-leads on workflow, coordinate and assign daily job responsibilities for all picking, packing, shipping, and special project activities to ensure the department goals are met.

  • Proactively communicate any issues relating to the daily commitments with Supervisor and co-leads.

  • Provide team support and leadership by being the first line of contact for employee concerns.

  • Ensure team members are meeting company and department expectations by providing them with routine feedback, as well as discussing production reports with them as mapped out by supervisor.

  • Communicate and escalate any issues requiring the direction of the Supervisor i.e. behavior or production issues, employee relations issues, etc.

  • Train and cross train new and existing employees to ensure all department standards are met. Ensure all training SOP materials are maintained and readily available for team.

  • Partner with the Supervisor to develop an effective rotation schedule for the team, that includes the lead role in production at least 6 hrs per day.

  • Backup any position within the Outbound Logistics functions; pick, pack, ship, and maintain production standards.

  • Be able to perform all label printing functions as related to packing activities.

  • Assist with as needed, daily Cycle Count and inventory validation processes.

  • Assist Supervisor with providing feedback and writing reviews for the Casual staff.

  • Be seen as one of the “go-to” people for the team and assist with day-to-day communications across the logistics group.

  • Provide input on process improvement ideas.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Assist with reporting duties, as requested

  • Serve as a role model for performance and morale of the department.

  • Perform other work-related duties as requested and required.

Hours: Monday-Friday 11:00AM-7:30PM

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:

  • High school graduate. 3-4 years’ experience in warehousing and order fulfillment. Customer service experience is a plus. Training and leadership experience is preferred.

  • Ability to use PC programs and RF scanner

  • SAP/ShipERP experience

  • Ability to move at a fast pace
