The major function of this position is:

Support our global training initiatives for our sales team Brand Ambassadors and retail partners. The role involves working closely with the Training Specialists to design engaging learning programs and manage both internal and account-facing LMS systems.

Location:

  • Peoria, Il.
  • Work schedule - Hybrid (4 days in office/1 day remote)

Essential Duties:

  • Design and develop engaging blended learning solutions and course content for brand ambassadors and retail accounts
  • Manage all aspects of Learning Management Systems (LMS), including content creation, editing, management, user administration, reward tracking and reporting
  • Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and e-learning content
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and webinars
  • For on-site training events, coordinate room configuration, equipment, and any food/beverage for attendees
  • Collaborate with trainers to ensure all equipment, materials, and tools are organized and available for both on-site and off-site presentations
  • Manage training communication calendars and create engaging announcements
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop impactful learning experiences
  • Apply instructional design principles to create effective and engaging materials
  • Continuously review, revise, and improve training programs based on data and feedback
  • Design SOPs, best practices, and other learning aids for the sales team
  • Facilitate translation of course materials
  • Track attendance, compile feedback, and generate reports on training activities
  • Serve as a point of contact for training-related inquiries
  • Additional training and development responsibilities and general administrative duties – as needed.

Education and Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, Marketing or related field; High School diploma required
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination, L&D or similar role with creative elements
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Experience in the eyewear industry
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and basic instructional design
  • Understanding of branding and visual identity principles
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Familiarity with LMS and virtual meeting platforms
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360) and video editing software (e.g., Camtasia)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Creative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
  • Strong ability to listen to feedback, collaborate effectively, and incorporate input to achieve desired outcomes
