The Ecommerce Strategist will be support the overall efforts of the Ecommerce team to drive new customer acquisition and online revenue for one of the most-loved eyewear brands. In this role, you will work across functional areas of the team to develop, implement, and execute cross channel strategies to improve the overall customer experience and increase ecommerce revenue.

Responsibilities will range from project management, analysis, conversion rate optimization, and developing online customer journeys in a multi-channel environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with our channel managers within the ecommerce team as well as our brand marketing team and our global sales leadership teams to deliver the best customer experience possible while supporting revenue growth.

Essential Duties:

  • Conduct conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts by analyzing website performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to increase conversion rates.
  • Perform in-depth performance analysis of ecommerce initiatives, including website traffic, user engagement, conversion rates, and revenue generation, to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  • Lead customer journey optimization efforts by mapping out the customer journey across various touchpoints, identifying pain points, and implementing strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and drive conversions.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI stakeholders and developers to implement website enhancements and optimizations based on CRO findings and customer journey mapping.
  • Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to assess the effectiveness of different website elements, messaging strategies, and marketing campaigns in driving conversions and improving the user experience.
  • Develop and implement personalized marketing strategies and tactics based on customer segmentation, behavior analysis, and predictive modeling to increase customer retention and lifetime value.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in ecommerce, digital marketing, and customer experience to inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation.
  • Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior management, regarding ecommerce performance, trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of ecommerce strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze competitive landscape and market trends to identify potential threats and opportunities and adjust ecommerce strategies accordingly.

Desired Qualifications

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent commercial experience)
  • Strong understanding of merchandising and sales
