Maintenance Specialist at MMS in East Peoria, IL. Full-time, 1st shift. Repair manufacturing machine tools, and ensure peak performance. Non-supervisory role. Experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance is required. Weekend and overtime work may be necessary. Starting wage based on experience.

Requirements

Experience:

5 years or more of maintenance experience in the service field.

Education: High school diploma (or equivalent). Completion of an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar program is not required but would be strongly encouraged.

Skills:

Advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills including experience working on CNC equipment and PLCs. Ability to read and use various test equipment. Adherence to safety regulations and policies is a must.

Other requirements: Must have a valid state driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a dependable vehicle. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.

Responsibilities:

- Responding to customer needs and troubleshooting equipment.

- Repairing production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery.

- Completing projects such as mechanical and electrical upgrades.

- Ensuring compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers, climb, stoop, and talk. Occasionally required to sit and lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. May be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy or slippery factory floors.
