Our client, a dynamic organization in the HR and Safety sector, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be part of the HR department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, which will align successfully with the organization.

Pay Range: $17

What's the Job?

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager.
• Act as a backup for payroll in the event of the HR Manager's absence.
• Compile and maintain employee files (both hard and soft copies).
• Manage timekeeping, including daily tracking of hourly time and absences.

• Knowledge of principles, methods, and practices related to payroll activities.
• Able to exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Ability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Solid problem-solving and business acumen skills.
• Assist with safety programs, policies and procedures
