Remote Semiconductor/ASIC Technical Writer

I’m a Recruiter with Manpower Engineering and I am looking for a remote Proposal Writer / Technical Writer for our ASIC manufacturing client. This will be a 6-month contract with the opportunity to extend or convert to perm. US Citizenship required.
Primary Duties:
- Looking for an Engineer to read and respond to government RFPs, digest the information and put together a proposal in a compliant, responsible manner.
- Write proposals in a technical way that sells the products, specifically ASIC
- Will be 3 major proposal submittals in the first 6 months, ~30 pages covering the technology, road maps, concepts, and potential solutions
What's Needed?
- Seeking someone from the semiconductor/ASIC/microelectronics industry – able to speak the language and understand the industry
- Seeking an engineer that not only understands the technical aspects and ASIC design but also the sales piece. Someone with the ability to write in a technical way that sells the products, specifically ASIC
- Experience with technical writing, proposal writing, consisting of technology, road maps, concepts, potential solutions
- Security clearance or ability to obtain
- Due to the nature of the projects, US Citizenship is a hard requirement
- Once a month anticipated travel for remote employees
