General Skills/Requirements- Proficiency in English- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills- Professional appearance- Ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers- Physically able to navigate/attend bid-walks and periodic site visits at active construction sites- Clean criminal background- Must pass drug screening and background check (pre-employment and random)Potential Job Responsibilities- Management of project submittal registers for multiple projects- Assist in electronic packaging and submission of project data and submittals- Provide project communication and support to project management staff- Assist project management staff with management of overall project schedules- Assist project management staff with sending/receiving/logging of RFI documents- Assist project management staff in procurement of subcontractor submittals- General clerical duties including photocopying, fax, and mailing- Maintain electronic and hard copy project filing system- Handle requests for information and project data from material and equipment vendors- Prepare written responses to routine inquires- Prepare and modify documents including correspondences, reports, drafts, memos and e-mails- Maintain office supply inventories and order as necessary- Other duties as assignedExperience/Education- 3-5 years of staff or administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of training- Past experience working with USACE federal projects- Associate or higher degree in business experience preferred- Basic knowledge of construction accounting and construction projects workflow process- Proficient in Microsoft suite of general office programs- Proficient in Microsoft Project or equivalentPossessing the above skills/experience not necessary to apply. Will provide training for the right candidate who possesses ample drive, work ethic, and ability to learn necessary concepts/skills.
