The Position: We are looking for a Supervisor, Assigned Electrical for our Steel Works Maintenance department!

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical craft personnel assigned to the area.
  • Responsible for the electrical maintenance of the area equipment and building.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance in assigned area.
  • Responsible for continuous mill productivity, quality, safety and housekeeping in assigned area.
  • Keep records, maintain equipment drawings, and schematics of mill equipment.
  • Interface effectively with other members of supervision, personnel from other departments, and ISWA personnel.
  • Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Several years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training required.
  • Five years electrical maintenance in a heavy industrial environment is desired.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC-5 and DC powered cranes desired.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics required.
  • Solid electrical aptitude is necessary.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be capable of using personal computers and Microsoft software.
  • Assertive and goal oriented.
  • A self-starter with positive attitude.
  • Must possess strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Must be organized and capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.

PAY RANGE: $59,400 - $74,250

DISCRETIONARY TARGET BONUS: 12%
