INTEGRIS Automation is looking to add a PROJECT MANAGER/TECHNICAL LEAD (PMP) to its automation group with a passion for new product development, problem solving, and exceeding expectations. Opportunities exist in our automation group. This position would be based in Peoria, IL. The candidate can expect to work in a high-velocity and dynamic environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. Candidates are expected to work well in a team by contributing through their work product, supporting other team members and accepting support all under the premise that "you're not in it alone." A qualified candidate does not have to meet all the experiences listed here, an aptitude to learn is the number one qualification. CORE QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of BS in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Agricultural, etc.) is required, master’s degree in engineering is a plus; Strong basic Mechanical Engineering skills (statics, dynamics, machine components, structures, FBD, etc.); Proficient with a modeling tool (SolidWorks preferred), Creo, or Autodesk Tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.); Ability to think conceptually; Top-Down design techniques in CAD; Strong mechanical aptitude, creativity, project management, communication, and analytical skills; Mechanical, structural, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience a plus; Previous engineering experience in heavy equipment, automotive, power generation, or aerospace industries a plus; Familiar with castings/forgings and weldments a plus. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Project introduction with INTEGRIS team, and assist with quote preparation; Participate in or host internal and customer kickoff meetings; Manage procurement processes: create and update procurement schedule and BOM spreadsheets, work with the purchasing department to procure needed components according to the procurement schedule, work with program manager to ensure project stays within material budget; Create and communicate project plan/action item list, delegate project tasks, work with team to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget; Ensure final deliverables meet expectations set forth in the quote and receive customer sign off. TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY - Machine building background required; Familiarity or Proficiency preferred, but not required in: Industrial Process and Controls including Pressure, Flow, & Temperature of Oils/Fuels; General High-Speed Data Acquisition terminologies and hardware functionality regarding analog signals; Knowledge of OE and Tier Production Manufacturing Facilities and Practices; Familiar with the design cycle and the cradle-to-grave responsibilities; Ability to wear multiple hats; MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Design Tools (SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer, AutoCAD) preferred, but not required.
