This is a 40 hour per week position. EOE
Pay Range: $95,000 - $105,000
Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and organizational development. The HR Manager plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment, developing HR policies and procedures, and supporting company objectives through effective people management.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Proven leadership in the implementation of policy and procedures
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
Responsibilities:
- Leads, directs and manages all aspects of human resources – policies, hiring, discharges and disciplinary action
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related issues
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
- Administer compensation and benefits programs
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and investigations
- Maintain HR records and prepare reports for management
- Ensures all employer decisions, policies and procedures are made within applicable federal, state and local regulations
- Educates/supports leadership in all employee issues
- Establishes and keeps an efficient records system that adheres to all HR regulations
- Responsible for all employee benefits – insurance, 401k/profit sharing, paid time off, and other applicable benefits
- Leads recruitment process for all staff and management positions
- Provide strategic leadership
- Plan administrator for the practice’s 401K and profit-sharing plan
- Responsible for all information sharing for the annual outside 401k audit
- Oversees payroll processing and appropriate recordkeeping
