This is a 40 hour per week position.
Work hours are somewhere between 7 am and 5:30 pm dependent on the position and patient needs. Some positions may work on a Saturday rotation with hours between 7 am and 12 pm.

Responsibilities:
The Precertification Specialist is responsible for understanding all aspects of the patient’s insurance and authorization requirements. Responsibilities include insurance eligibility, benefit verification, precertification/authorization, account follow up, and documentation. The position requires direct communication with patients, insurance companies and other team members. Multitasking skills are a must.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years medical office experience preferred
- 2+ years medical insurance experience preferred

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
