Job Description:

Summary

The Coordinator - Continuing Education is primarily responsible for coordinating open enrollment community workshops and community enrichment programs for Corporate & Community Education.

Compensation for the Coordinator - Continuing Education is $45,240.00 to $52,041.60 annually.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with subject matter experts to provide a robust array of open enrollment community education courses
  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of comprehensive youth programming and educational summer camps
  • Actively research and assess local community interests to align course offerings with market demand and community need.
  • Support the expansion of online training platforms and distance-learning options to meet the evolving preferences of non-traditional learners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Services to drive enrollment through the strategic production of printed course catalogs, digital assets, and press releases.
  • Execute promotional initiatives across social media platforms and other community outreach channels to increase program visibility.
  • Manage and maintain programming data within the student registration system, ensuring accuracy in course details, schedules, and logistics.
  • Track, analyze, and report on enrollment trends, course outcomes, and performance metrics to guide future programming decisions.
  • Oversee core administrative functions, including database maintenance, web page updates, and providing first-tier technical troubleshooting for department equipment and classroom electronics.
  • Recruit, onboard, and evaluate high-quality facilitators and workshop presenters to ensure exceptional instructional standards.
  • Assist Dean and Manager of Corporate and Community Education to develop and monitor annual program plan and budget, including revenue projections and expenditures.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or a related field.
  • One (1) years of experience in program coordination, training, or directly related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong multi-taking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, Technology or a related field.
  • Experience in higher education.
  • Experience working in registration systems.
  • Experience developing schedules for community coursework.
  • Certified in one or more Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications.
