Summary
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant supports the department by functioning as a receptionist and performs confidential clerical work supporting the Human Resources department. This position requires independent judgment and high levels of discretion.
Compensation for the PT Assistant- Human Resources is $17.90 - $20.58 an hour.
This is a part-time position working up to 29 hours per week. Our core business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with the possibility of a Monday through Thursday shift.
Essential Functions

- Perform receptionist duties for the front human resources office.
- Complete confidential administrative tasks for the human resources department.
- Maintain files and materials for all employees in a confidential manner and within document retention and destruction policy guidelines.
- Perform related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in an office, administrative support, or customer service position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all levels of staff.
- Strong customer services skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in related field.
- Experience in human resources, benefits, recruiting or related.
- Microsoft Certification.
- Experience with Workday.
