Summary:
The Lead Coordinator - Admissions (Health Careers) provides comprehensive application and admission information and support to prospective, new, and re-enrolling students for the Health Career programs. This individual will assist prospective and current students in planning and selecting classes that meet prerequisites and prepare them for successful application to Health Career programs. They will also serve as a college health careers representative with regional schools, businesses, and community groups. This individual will embrace diversity and equity to educate diverse student populations, including high school, adult, low-income, incumbent workers, and minority students about Health Careers at Illinois Central College.

Compensation for the Lead Coordinator - Admissions is $49,899.20-$57,366.40 annually.
Essential Functions:

Promote Health Career programs to current ICC students and prospective students.
Assist students in choosing a Health Career program that reflects their interests and skills and aligns them on a direct career pathway.
Engage with prospective students, including traditional and adult students, to promote the benefits of the ICC Health Careers programs.
Meet with prospective students to assist in planning and selecting classes that align with their health careers educational goals, meet prerequisites, and prepare them for successful application to a Health Career program.
Meet with current ICC students and assist them with course selections to better prepare them for successful application to a Health Career program and retain their enrollment at ICC.
Provide personalized guidance to students on course selection to ensure they meet the prerequisites and academic requirements for applying to Health Career programs.
Connect students with appropriate wrap-around services, such as financial aid, WEI, WIOA, TRIO, childcare services, counseling, access services, tutoring, and other support services, that will reduce barriers to allowing students to apply and complete their career pathways successfully.
Communicate, advise, and assist students through the Health Career’s Admissions and Enrollment process by providing guidance and information about the program’s pre-enrollment activities, such as application, placement testing, registration, orientations, and other activities.
Supervise the Health Careers Application Review process, which includes admissions, communication, and onboarding.
Collect, analyze, and evaluate enrollment data. Provide quarterly reports to the Admissions Director, VP of Marketing, Communication and Outreach, and the Dean of Health Careers and identify opportunities for low-enrollment programs.
Coordinate with the Dean of Health Careers and Program Directors to review and inform admission policies and procedures, including application, enrollment, placement, registration, and orientation.
Attend open houses and other related recruitment and application events and tours, including but not limited to College Nights, Visit Days, Campus Tours, Health Career’s Expo, and other opportunities in the community.
Build professional relationships within the community, schools, and business contacts.
Conduct data entry into the Customer Relations Management (CRM) database while maintaining up-to-date records of all inquiries and applicants for tracking, follow-up, and reporting.
Perform related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
The requirements listed below represent the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
Bachelor's degree.
Two (2) years of experience in admissions, recruitment, health profession, or directly related fields.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Excellent Customer Service Experience.
Demonstrated public speaking and presentation experience.
Evidence of project management and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in higher education.
Experience working within the community.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Experience with Student Information Systems or CRM technologies.
