Summary
The Marketing Project Coordinator supports the college’s marketing efforts by managing the flow of marketing and communications projects for internal departments from initial request through completion. This role serves as a primary point of contact for campus partners, helping to organize project details, timelines, and communication between stakeholders and the Marketing team.
This position is well suited for an organized, collaborative professional who enjoys working on a variety of projects, supporting multiple partners, and helping ideas move from concept to completion in a team-based environment.
This role offers hands-on experience with a wide range of marketing initiatives, exposure to cross-campus collaboration, and the opportunity to build practical project management and marketing skills in a supportive team setting.
Compensation for the Marketing Project Coordinator is $45,240.00 - $52,041.60 annually.

Essential Functions

- Serves as primary point of contact for internal college departments regarding marketing and communications requests, helping to guide projects through established marketing processes.
- Coordinate marketing and communications projects from initial intake through completion by organizing project details, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with marketing team members and the Marketing & Events Manager to support planning, prioritization, and execution of marketing initiatives that align with departmental and institutional goals.
- Support efficient workflow within the Marketing and Communications department by tracking projects in progress, monitoring deadlines and milestones, and providing regular status updates.
- Assist with gathering project information, coordinating asset review, and consolidating feedback to support the timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials
- Use project tracking tools, technology platforms, and the college CRM to help manage project information, documentation, and data.
- Coordinate the collection and accuracy of marketing-related data to support basic reporting, campaign recaps, and ongoing improvements.
- Produce accurate and meaningful operational reports, including traffic, trend, and marketing campaign recaps, and analytics for the department.
- Perform related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
- Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
- One to three years of experience in marketing, communications, project coordination or a related role.
- Working knowledge of project coordination principles and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload demands.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- Experience supporting marketing or communications projects in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with basic project management tools or workflows.
- Experience working in higher education, nonprofit, or public-sector environments.
