The Manager of Enrollment Services leads the student enrollment process with a strong focus on student support and success. Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Services and overseeing a team of eight, the manager sets goals, improves processes, and ensures that policies are followed in a way that aligns with the college’s mission and priorities. This role requires knowledge of Financial Aid, cashiering and cash-handling procedures, and a commitment to efficient, student-centered service. Using data to guide decisions, the manager works to create a welcoming and supportive experience for all students throughout the enrollment process.
Essential Functions

1. Provide oversight and representation for general enrollment services at ICC.
2. Develop and execute strategies that enhance teamwork, communication, professional development, and morale.
3. Manage budgets within the enrollment services department.
4. Coordinate all aspects of hiring processes for student employment, enrollment service staff, and managerial positions.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the student experience and ensure their success.
6. Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices in enrollment services, refining processes, policies, and practices accordingly.
7. Oversee all business processes within the Enrollment department.
8. Establish and enforce service standards for all student communication channels.
9. Monitor and evaluate staff performance against established criteria.
10. Develop and maintain comprehensive staff training manuals, ensuring adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements.
11. Address and resolve student and parent concerns and complaints, providing support to Enrollment Specialists.
12. Implement processes to streamline and enhance customer service across all Enrollment Services functions.
13. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, regularly updating policies and procedures as needed.
14. Perform any additional duties as required to support the efficient operation of the department.
Minimum Qualifications
-
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field with three years of customer service lead experience OR Associate’s degree in business or related field with 5 years of direct experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.
Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in education, student affairs or related field
- 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience working with budgets.
- Experience working in student affairs.
- Experience working in a community college.
- Experience with principles and practices of financial aid and records management.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Enterprise Solution Software.
- Experience with process management and improvement.
- Experience in higher education customer service.
