Summary
Manage the bookstore's website. Processes all prepaid online orders and shipments to customers.
This position may work more hours during high volume months (January and August).Essential Functions

- Create, maintain, and update content for bookstore's web presence.
- Prepare product images for the website.
- Assist with the product cross-selling process.
- Assist with creating and managing catalogs in WinPrism.
- Prepare site manager each semester for buyback and online sales.
- Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web pages.
- Process all prepaid online orders and shipments to customers.
- Coordinate with manager free shipping & discount dates each semester.
- Set up system parameters each semester.
- Prepare free shipping report each semester.
- Handle all online order discrepancies.
- Correspond with PrismRBS regarding software issues.
- Assist as needed at the customer service desk and register.
- Assist students, staff, faculty and customers with needed products and services in all departments throughout the bookstore.
- Provide assistance as needed during bookstore rushes, buyback and year-end inventory.
- Perform related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months to one year of direct experience, or one to three years of related experience.
- Type a minimum of 40 net words per minute while providing accurate data entry.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.
Preferred Qualifications
-
- Three to five years of direct experience managing a website.
- Completion of some college-level web based coursework.
- Digital photography experience.
- Knowledge of WinPrism and WebPrism.
