Sitetracker Administrator
East Peoria, IL, USA
Job Summary:
The Sitetracker Administrator is responsible for administering, optimizing, and supporting the Sitetracker platform used by I3 Broadband to manage fiber-to-the-home construction projects. This role ensures Sitetracker functions as a reliable operational tool for tracking project progress, improving visibility, supporting consistent execution, and enabling data-driven decision-making across construction programs.
Rather than serving solely as the technical expert for the platform, the Sitetracker Administrator will work proactively with construction stakeholders to maximize the impact of Sitetracker as a tool for delivering consistent results. The role will also coordinate across departments, including Finance, Supply Chain, Network Engineering, and Operations, and will work closely with third-party vendors who interface with Sitetracker to maintain a streamlined reporting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Administration & Optimization
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Sitetracker platform supporting I3 Broadband’s fiber-to-the-home construction projects
- Configure, maintain, and improve Sitetracker workflows, milestones, forms, fields, dashboards, reports, user permissions, and data structures
- Partner with construction stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate those needs into practical platform improvements
- Support platform adoption by ensuring Sitetracker processes aligning with real-world construction execution and reporting requirements
- Maintain documentation for platform configuration, process standards, reporting definitions, and user guidance
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work proactively with Construction leadership, Construction Managers, Project Managers, and field stakeholders to improve project visibility and execution discipline
- Coordinate across Network Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and other internal groups to increase the utility and consistency of the Sitetracker platform
- Facilitate alignment between business process owners and system functionality to ensure Sitetracker supports dependable project delivery
- Promote accountability by documenting decisions, action items, ownership, reporting needs, and unresolved platform or process issues
Data Integrity, Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and operational views that provide clear visibility to construction progress, risks, priorities, and performance trends
- Support executive leadership reporting by creating reliable, repeatable, and easy-to-understand views of project status and key metrics
- Monitor data quality, completeness, and consistency within Sitetracker and coordinate clean-up or process corrections when needed
- Identify recurring data, process, or reporting gaps and recommend improvements that increase platform accuracy, usability, and business value
Vendor Coordination & User Support
- Work closely with third-party vendors who report project activity into Sitetracker to ensure expectations, data requirements, and reporting processes are clearly understood
- Troubleshoot user questions, workflow issues, access needs, and reporting concerns in a timely and practical manner
- Provide user guidance, training, and process reinforcement to support consistent use of Sitetracker across internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate platform updates, process changes, reporting requirements, and data expectations clearly across technical, operational, construction, and vendor groups
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Information Technology, Business Analytics or Data Analytics, Telecommunications or Network Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Equivalent experience (4+ years) in Sitetracker administration, telecom operations, or business systems may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3-6+ years of relevant professional experience including at least 1-2 years of hands-on Sitetracker administration (or comparable platform such as Salesforce based systems)
- Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into practical system, process, and reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of data quality, reporting accuracy, process consistency, and user adoption in an operational software platform
- Ability to communicate effectively with construction, engineering, finance, supply chain, operations, vendor, and leadership stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, open issues, user requests, and reporting needs at the same time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience as a Sitetracker Administrator
- Experience supporting telecommunications, broadband, fiber-to-the-home, outside plant, or network construction projects
- Experience developing executive dashboards, operational reporting, KPI tracking, and recurring leadership updates
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong Sitetracker administration, configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with attention to data quality, reporting accuracy, and process consistency
- Professional and collaborative approach when working with internal teams, executive leadership, vendors, contractors, and external partners
Working Conditions:
- Frequent meetings with stakeholders to capture evolving needs and communicate changes
- Occasional travel for meetings
