The Medicaid Test Lead will be a strategic and technical leader focused on defining and enforcing a comprehensive testing vision across multiple Medicaid portfolios. The role requires strong analytical and leadership skills to evaluate emerging technologies, optimize testing frameworks, and champion continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own a Medicaid wide testing strategy roadmap (3–5 years) for Medicaid portfolios, including automation goals and process optimization.
- Provide strategic oversight to the team for all testing activities across multiple Medicaid domains, ensuring dependencies are identified, managed, and validated.
- Establish and enforce enterprise testing standards, including QTest adoption and consistent methodologies across portfolios.
- Drive automation initiatives at scale, evaluating and implementing tools and frameworks to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
- Enable scalable testing operations through effective leadership, resource planning, and demand-based team scaling.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and Operations teams to align testing strategies with organizational objectives and portfolio priorities.
- Mentor and guide State Test managers and teams on best practices, automation frameworks, and quality planning.
- Monitor and continuously improve testing processes, leveraging metrics and analytics to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Ensure comprehensive end-to-end test coverage, including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing across portfolios.
- Build strong relationships across departments and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software testing experience, including enterprise test strategy development and automation.
- Proven experience with Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks.
- Expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks; familiarity with QTest and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Cloud Foundry).
- Strong leadership skills with 2+ years managing large-scale or distributed teams.
- Ability to analyze and implement new tools and processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Medicaid or healthcare systems preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
