Humana Healthy Horizons in Oklahoma is seeking a Utilization Management (UM) Coordinator who will contribute to administration of utilization management. The UM Coordinator performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and Enrollee support assignments. They will perform computations and typically works on semi-routine assignments.The UM Administration Coordinator:
- Provides nonclinical support for the policies and procedures, ensuring best and most appropriate treatment, care, or services for our Enrollees
- Assists Providers with discharge planning for Enrollees with inpatient stay or outpatient physical health
- Works on special projects with the clinical team

Required Qualifications
- Must reside in the state of Oklahoma
- One (1) or more years of experience working in a healthcare environment
- Proficient or Intermediate experience with medical terminology or ICD-10 codes
- Proficient using electronic health record and documentation programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer service
- Experience working in Medicaid or Medicare settings
Additional Information
- Workstyle: This is a remote position
- Typical Workdays and Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm Central Standard Time (CST)
- Weekend Work Schedule Rotation: Associates in this role may work one weekend every 4 weeks Leadership will discuss more details in interview

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
