The Senior Workforce Management Professional applies and integrates advanced and predictive analysis, people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision-making (e.g., staffing, learning and development, talent management, diversity and human resource compliance). The Senior Workforce Management Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.The Senior Workforce Management Professional plays a pivotal role in supporting Medicaid Inpatient and Outpatient Utilization Management (UM) forecasting and staff planning activities. This position is responsible for assessing organizational staffing levels, identifying requirements, and formulating solutions to meet strategic workforce objectives. The incumbent will provide robust analysis of talent needs and staffing models based on enterprise-level strategic planning, and will begin to influence the direction of departmental strategy through expert insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the WFM team to develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal staffing for Medicaid Inpatient and Outpatient UM functions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of historical utilization trends, forecast future staffing requirements, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Evaluate organizational structures and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, service delivery, and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure workforce plans are integrated and support overall enterprise goals.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to model staffing scenarios, assess risks, and develop contingency plans.
- Present findings, forecasts, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex to highly complex issues related to technical approaches for project components.
- Demonstrate considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments with minimal supervision.
- Monitor ongoing workforce metrics and adjust planning as needed to respond to changing business conditions, regulatory requirements, and strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of Workforce Management, Staff Planning, or Finance experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analysis, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
- Proven experience in workforce planning, preferably within back-office teams
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for operational and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence departmental strategy and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting analysis and recommendations to leadership.
- Advanced proficiency with workforce management software and analytical tools.
