Humana seeks a strategic and results-driven Member Optimization Health Outcomes Survey (HOS) Program Delivery Lead to develop interventions, communication, and material that help improve the experience of members relative to HOS measures. This position will conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis & research throughout the year to glean insights. These insights are used to develop targeted strategies and intentional messaging or engagement across all member and vendor initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to translate stakeholder requirements into foundational member campaigns and ensure alignment with enterprise goals, as well as be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving member experiences.

The Member Optimization Health Outcomes Survey Program Delivery Lead will work to develop a member engagement strategy that delivers insights and enables comprehensive analytics that are meaningful to develop foundational programs for our Medicare population. This role will lead execution of tactics, collaborative development of engagement strategies, status updates to leadership, and results of campaigns or programs and their impact to results on the Medicare Health Outcomes Survey and patient experience. This role will advise executives and senior leadership to develop functional strategies that broadly impact the Medicare Stars program. This role will also develop, elevate, and evaluate deepen partnerships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine, enhance, implement, and evaluate current direct member campaigns for HOS program

  • Refine, enhance, and implement materials & resources that support members throughout the year

  • Develop new net programs that support mental and physical health and other HOS measures

  • Explore and identify new opportunities to engage members through new technologies

  • Conduct, leverage, and apply new insights from research to member engagement strategy

  • Develop foundational interventions based on pilots and effectiveness studies

  • Develop and manage HOS call campaigns and ensure compliance with TCPA regulations

  • Expand and ensure all HOS campaigns utilize sophisticated targeting logic

  • Develop and implement new mental and physical health campaigns and embed new messaging within existing touchpoints to support increased weighting of improving and maintaining mental and physical health

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, healthcare administration, or health education & promotion, public health or any field

  • Minimum 7 years of marketing experience, including direct experience in healthcare, stars quality, and/or member/patience experience

  • Demonstrated success in healthcare marketing or member engagement, project management, problem-solving

  • Excellent communication, leadership, influence, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree

  • Behavioral economics

  • Experience with Medicare CAHPS and/or HOS

  • Certified Healthcare Marketing Professional

  • Certified Health Education Specialist

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$115,200 - $158,400 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
