The VP, Creative & Content will lead the strategic vision and execution of creative and content development across all marketing initiatives, ensuring a best-in-class, insight-driven approach that enhances brand storytelling, consumer engagement, and business growth.The VP, Creative & Content will ensure all creative and content initiatives align with the company’s brand strategy and business objectives while optimizing efficiency, scalability, and impact. This role requires a visionary leader who can elevate storytelling, drive innovation, and create compelling brand experiences that resonate across diverse audiences, platforms and channels. This executive will oversee a high-impact team of creative, content, and production experts, managing multiple direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Brand Excellence
· Lead the creative vision and execution for all marketing and brand initiatives, ensuring a unified and compelling presence across all channels.
· Oversee brand storytelling, advertising, design, and campaign creative development to drive deep consumer engagement.
· Ensure all creative work aligns with brand identity, voice, and business objectives while fostering innovation.
· Guide the development of high-impact creative assets for integrated marketing campaigns, sponsorships, activations, and partnerships.
Content Strategy & Production
· Build a content studio to produce compelling and engaging content across digital, social, video, print, and experiential platforms.
· Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that drives consumer engagement, thought leadership, and brand affinity.
· Ensure seamless integration of content into omnichannel marketing efforts, optimizing storytelling for different audiences and platforms.
· Leverage insights and data to refine content strategies, measure impact, and optimize performance.
Agency Operations & Offshore Resources
· Lead agency operations and vendor management, ensuring seamless collaboration with external partners while optimizing efficiency.
· Oversee offshore creative and content production resources to scale high-quality execution while managing costs effectively.
· Implement processes and workflows that drive efficiency, quality control, and consistency across all creative and content initiatives.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Directly manage and develop a team of three AVPs, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and operational excellence. · Partner with Brand, Growth, CLM, Design and Consumer Insights and others to ensure creative and content efforts align with overarching marketing strategies.
· Work closely with business unit leaders, executive stakeholders, and external agencies to bring brand and marketing initiatives to life.
· Establish a Creative & Content Center of Excellence that sets the standard for best practices, innovation, and efficiency in creative execution.
Performance & Innovation
· Leverage consumer insights, market research, and analytics to inform creative and content strategies.
· Implement performance measurement frameworks to assess creative effectiveness and optimize campaigns.
· Stay ahead of emerging trends in design, content, storytelling, and digital engagement, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of brand marketing.
· Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and MarTech solutions to enhance creative production and content personalization at scale.

Qualifications
· 15+ years of creative leadership experience in brand marketing, advertising, content strategy, or related fields, preferably within healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries.
· Proven ability to lead high-performing creative, content, and production teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
· Expertise in brand storytelling, advertising, design, and content production across digital, traditional, and experiential platforms.
· Strong leadership skills with experience managing large-scale agency relationships and offshore resources.
· Deep understanding of creative operations, production workflows, and content distribution strategies.
· Ability to balance big-picture brand vision with hands-on execution, ensuring both strategic alignment and creative excellence.
· A track record of driving innovation, testing new formats, and scaling content initiatives to meet evolving consumer behaviors.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.Scheduled Weekly Hours
