The Intern - General 2 performs duties in field of study or profession. The Intern - General 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.Humana is seeking a creative and driven Talent Attraction & Candidate Communications Intern to support our hiring initiatives by crafting compelling content that attracts talent and showcases our commitment to putting health first. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about storytelling, employer branding, and digital communications—and who wants to make a meaningful impact by enhancing the candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and execute recruitment campaigns and content strategies that reflect Humana’s culture, values, and employee experience
Support the planning, management, and optimization of Humana’s presence on social media and job board platforms
Create and distribute engaging content—including social media posts, articles, graphics, videos—across internal and external platforms to attract and engage talent
Assist in measuring campaign performance and track engagement metrics to inform and refine future strategies
Conduct market research and benchmarking on employer brand trends, competitor strategies, and emerging platforms
Help enhance candidate-facing materials to position Humana as an employer of choice
This is a hybrid internship in Louisville, KY and will require some in-office workdays.
Use your skills to make an impact
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field
Must be graduating between December 2025 and Summer 2027
Available to start in September 2025 and work through December 2025 for 15-20 hours per week
Must be in Louisville, KY and able to go into the Louisville office 1 day/week
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Have a strong academic history, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA being desired
Interest in pursuing a career in the healthcare industry
Knowledge of social media platforms and current trends, with the ability to create content that resonates with target audiences
Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or Sprinklrcontent creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Creative mindset with a keen interest inpassion for digital storytelling and user-centered communication
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
