The IT Product Management Leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segment, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Decisions may be related to resources, approach, strategy and tactical operations. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department include Executive Leadership.

The IT Product Manager works with relevant Humana stakeholders to create, prioritize, and manage product iteration backlogs. Ensures final products meet IT and Humana standards and deliver maximum value to end-users. Influence department’s strategy should be a priority for this individual to insure Humana’s needs are being met. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Requirements:

  • Technical Systems thinker preferably with Cloud experience
  • Agile Program Manager tools experience expected such as ADO, Jira Align, SmartSheets etc.
  • Strong Understanding of Product Life Cycle Management with the ability to develop, maintain and deliver against roadmaps through iterative cycles
  • Strong understanding of security and compliance principles
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of technical experience, or equivalent and 2+ years of project leadership experience

Work-At-Home Requirements

• WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

• A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

• Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

• A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$126,300 - $173,700 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
