The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional on the Market Support team plays a vital role in bridging the gap between corporate clinical operations and regional market teams across the Medicaid business. This role focuses on supporting and enhancing business processes, systems, and workflows to improve operational efficiency, resolve issues, and support compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements. As a trusted partner to both business and technical stakeholders, the BSA helps markets navigate and operationalize clinical initiatives and system capabilities, as per the prioritization set up by the market. The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical operations, market teams, and Platform & Reporting teams to translate business needs into system requirements and technical solutions.
- Work closely with market stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and systems issues related to clinical workflows, utilization management, case management, and other CliniOps functions.
- Analyze current processes and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
- Support the implementation of clinical programs and system enhancements by gathering and supporting business requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria, as necessary.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and deployment planning to ensure solutions meet business needs and regulatory standards.
- Provide post-launch support and training to market teams on new system functionality and updated processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Compliance, Product, IT, and Market Leadership to ensure alignment with market goals, state expectations and corporate strategies.
- Track and monitor resolution of system defects, enhancements, and service requests.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of technical experience
- Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
- Experience in problem analysis and process
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other Advanced Degree
- Six Sigma certification
- PMP certification
- Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering
