The VP, Portfolio, Brand & Product Marketing is responsible for developing the overarching marketing strategy and designing the marketing and advertising campaigns that support Humana’s portfolio, brand and product initiatives for the Insurance segment. In addition to authoring briefs for internal and external partners, this team manages the intake process to manage workflow for the marketing execution teams.Key areas of oversight include: Brand Strategy & Market Positioning, Product Marketing & Advertising, Sponsorships & Activations, Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development, Data-Driven Decision Making and Performance Optimization.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that strengthens consumer trust, differentiates the company in the marketplace, and drives long-term growth.
· Ensure consistency in brand messaging, voice, and visual identity across all business units and marketing channels.
· Oversee brand health tracking, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to inform strategy and optimize marketing efforts.
· Lead marketing and advertising strategies for healthcare services and insurance products, ensuring business goals are met or exceeded.
· Oversee campaign intent development and brief development to ensure marketing efforts are insight-driven and aligned with business objectives.
· Select and manage agencies in partnership with Procurement to develop positioning and campaigns that
· Partner with business units, sales, and product teams to on overarching strategy and goal setting.
· Work closely with Customer Lifecycle Marketing Team to create compelling messaging and value propositions for key audiences.
· Develop and execute sponsorship and activation strategies that enhance brand visibility and engage key consumer segments.
· Oversee strategic alliances, including partnerships with major organizations like PPA and APP, to maximize brand exposure and customer loyalty.
· Provide leadership and strategic oversight, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
· Align cross-functional teams to ensure an integrated marketing approach that enhances consumer experience and business performance.
· Mentor and develop talent, fostering a high-performance, innovation-driven culture.
· Utilize analytics, consumer insights, and marketing performance data to drive informed decision-making.
· Working closely with Consumer Insights and Analytics function, implement KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess brand impact, engagement, and ROI across all initiatives.
· Run Monthly and Quarterly Marketing Reviews to share progress and results with key leaders and stakeholders.

Qualifications
· 15+ years of leadership experience in brand, product, and consumer marketing, ideally within healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries.
· Proven track record of developing and executing large-scale, integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth and consumer engagement.
· Expertise in brand positioning, advertising, sponsorships, activation, and strategic partnerships.
· Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder relationships, including executive leadership, business unit leaders, and external partners.
· Experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets with a strong focus on ROI and efficiency.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a vision for building world-class marketing teams.
· Familiarity with agile ways of working and best practices.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.Scheduled Weekly Hours
