The Quality Assurance Technician 4 assists with a team of skilled auditors reviewing timeliness requirements for Medicare initial episodes of care and reports out on the same. The Quality Assurance Technician 4 assumes ownership and leads advanced and highly specialized administrative, operational, and customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment.

The Quality Assurance Technician 4 develops policies, procedures and methods to check operational quality and improve same. This role trains and/or coaches staff and management in areas such as quality improvement, process management, and reliability science. This role maintains communications with administration, medical staff, and department heads regarding quality assurance activities. Decisions are made regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group and/or external vendors including coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals. This role often oversees work of others and/or is the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product or technology. The Quality Assurance Technician 4 works within broad guidelines with little oversight.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of leadership experience (team lead or formal supervisory experience)
  • 1+ years of Quality audit or Compliance monitoring experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, including Word and Excel
  • Familiarity and proficiency with internal Humana systems including Genesys, Pahub, CRM and RxNova
  • Self-starter and able to succeed with minimal supervision or direct managerial oversight.
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Excellent verbal and listening communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
