Are you a dynamic, enthusiastic, and analytical individual looking to kickstart your career in Finance? Join us as a Finance Intern and dive into the heart of the financial operations of our company. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience within our Finance organization, particularly in the reserving area. You'll collaborate closely with our Actuarial, Finance, and Accounting teams, contributing to critical projects and gaining invaluable industry insights.

The Finance Reserving Intern - General 2 acts as an apprentice while completing formal education or immediately following graduation. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis and reporting of financial data, supporting the reserving processes.
  • Participate in monthly financial forecasting and the preparation of financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the Actuarial department to understand and support actuarial reserving.
  • Aid in the development and refinement of accounting methodologies.
  • Engage in special projects, offering both logistical and analytical support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, SAS, or Python
  • Possess an interest in working in the healthcare industry

Required Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$37,440 - $87,500 per year
