The Associate Director – Pharmacy Clinical Program Trend will be part of an interactive team with broad exposure and scope within Humana. The Associate Director – Pharmacy Clinical Program Trend will be responsible for leading an organization with a mission to improve our members health outcomes via optimized medication use, including pharmacy clinical program trend development and execution. The right candidate exemplifies a balanced approach of business acumen and deep clinical knowledge and optimizes his/her resources by building a culture of accountability, high performance, and collaboration. In addition, this leader will utilize a broad understanding of managed care and PBM practice to develop, implement, and optimize strategies and programs to mitigate pharmacy cost trend and improve health outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD or RPh) from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Active, unrestricted pharmacy licensure
- Previous experience in pharmacy clinical program trend
- Able to give direction and make sound business decisions
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS)
- MBA, pharmacoeconomics or health outcomes training
- Previous experience in health outcomes research
- Previous direct leadership experience effectively coaching, developing and leading, including direct-reports and matrixed functions
- 5 years’ experience in pharmacy benefits management
- Understands managed care and is capable of generating insights into the business

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
