The Senior Data and Reporting Professional describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.The Senior Data and Reporting Professional integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Generates ad hoc and standard reports for end users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts.
- Integrates data from multiple sources to analyze and resolve issues; and produce requested data elements/reports.
- Interfaces with other associates across departments to bring guidance and input into process changes, collect requirements and manage expectations.
- Serve as a liaison with IT and Technology and Reporting to manage the enhancement list for departmental databases and tools.
- Leading short and long term initiatives from start to finish.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of technical experience in data analysis OR Master's Degree and 3 or more years of experience
Experience with Power BI for creating data visualizations
Experience with data pipeline tools such as SSIS, Power Automate, and Snaplogic
Experience with self-service application development with Power Apps, MS Access
Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
Advanced skill in SQL, and ability to write complex queries
Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Experience with self-service cloud technologies such as Azure Synapse Analytics or Databricks
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
Experience with scripting languages such as Python

40Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
