A Brief Overview
The Asset Management and Trust Services (AMTS) Financial Planning Specialist II supports execution of the financial planning process. The AMTS Financial Planning Specialist II reports to the Director of Portfolio Management & Financial Planning, who provides a moderate level of supervision. Additionally, the AMTS Financial Planning Specialist II works alongside Portfolio Manager(s), Portfolio Management Specialist(s), Financial Planning Specialist(s), and Wealth Advisor(s). The primary objective is to facilitate efficient development of financial plans for prospective clients and effective maintenance of financial plans for existing clients.
What you will do
- Monitor the financial planning dashboard to enable efficient, organized progression through existing financial planning process.
- Prepare prospective client packets and distribute to coworkers in a timely manner.
- Determine whether all pertinent financial planning packet information has been provided and notify coworkers of missing data.
- Utilize financial technology platforms to input financial planning information provided by prospective clients and existing clients.
- Oversee the Financial Planning inbox for communication from coworkers.
- Assist with ad hoc prospect and client financial planning projects, as assigned.
Other Qualifications/Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of MoneyGuide Elite or eMoney, Wealth Studios, and Holistiplan.
- Bachelor’s Degree Finance or Financial Planning and less than 1 year financial planning, financial services preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Financial Planner-CFP Board Program candidate preferred.
