About the Organization | WHO WE ARE Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois is a non-profit organization with 11 stores, seven donation centers, a logistics center and an online auction site. In addition, we operate two employment service centers and a home for veterans experiencing homelessness. The money raised by the sale of donations goes to fund our free programs. Our programs include: helping people find employment, assisting our veterans with job services and resource referral, serving youth around the area with several different programs, and operating a 15-bed home for veterans. Description | New Grant Position Opportunity – Full Time Program Support Specialist Goodwill of Central Illinois invites qualified interested persons to apply for a new grant position opportunity. We are seeking a Full Time Program Support Specialist for our Climate Jobs Program. Summary Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Program Support Specialist is responsible for working with the Climate Jobs staff to facilitate program activities and events designed to meet positive program outcomes for Goodwill’s newest grant. The Program Support Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry to support all program and grant activities. While the Specialist reports to and works closely with the department’s Program Manager, the Specialist is an essential part of a team of individuals who are working to build positive relationships with participants. The Program Support Specialist will work alongside the Goodwill Program Services staff to facilitate optimal program outcomes and to provide assistance in growing the services provided.
