Job Description Summary
The storeroom supervisor must coordinate daily warehouse activities, achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate order fulfillment, and track shipping times for multiple items. Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Develop and optimize warehouse systems for product handling, storage, inventory, and shipping methods.
- Lead, train, and manage the warehouse team to resolve daily issues and meet performance goals.
- Oversee daily operations including inventory control, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Plan workflows, staffing, space allocation, and equipment layouts to meet productivity and service standards.
- Schedule and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient work flow and minimize overtime.
- Manage spare parts inventory, cycle counts, and MRP processes; update on-hand balances.
- Process purchase requisitions and orders in SAP; coordinate with sales, logistics, and shipping teams.
- Enforce procurement policies and maintain supplier data including qualifications and delivery timelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in logistics or supply chain management.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience, including team supervision and inventory control.
- Proficiency in SAP, SCM+ systems, and general warehouse procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
- Forklift license preferred and ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Experience conducting cycle counts and maintaining purchase records.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
- Skilled in using computers and software systems for inventory and operations management.
Summary Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
Pay Range: $66,400-$110,700
