RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the achievement of the stated sales budget and cost goals for their assigned accounts and designated products.
- Prospecting of new potential customers for all markets served, and develop new business opportunities by customer visits, technical and commercial presentations (at customers and relevant shows/conferences), sending samples, follow up evaluations, quote and negotiate price/delivery conditions, and share forecast via the existing tools (IBP, MS Dynamics)
- Report to the BL, findings in the market place about trends, competitors and investments that could led us to potential opportunities and help to develop the local strategy.
- Keep informed: Marketing Managers from USA & BL Regional manager and BL Business Director about results, operation, changes, trends, problems, related with the development of business and key customers via Call Reports and documented in MS Dynamics according to the business rules
- Responsible for direct negotiation & management of supply agreements in the Business Line SE for responsible accounts within the price management process (CUPSET+)
- Manage their account relationships to meet business objectives with sufficient care not to breach any laws, disclose confidential information or detract from our own direct business in the marketplace
- Interface with and support Marketing, Customer Service and Supply Chain Functions in order to ensure customer needs are met.
- Coordinate and be aligned with local team about tasks, roles and responsibilities to keep current business healthy, high customer satisfactions and actively cooperate to solve customer complaints
- Gain knowledge of customer needs and challenges, to act as a link with Technical Service and Marketing Managers to support problems solution
- Manage distribution channel, with proper allocation of products and customers. Provide the necessary tools for development of new projects and follow up by joint commercial and technical visits, tracking sales and opportunities reports. Keep distribution term sheets updated.
- Stay updated through courses, diplomas, about sales, sales management, technical trainings, negotiation skills, etc.
- Respect and promote ethics, quality and safety standards established by Evonik during development of Commercial Operations (sales)
- Keep the budgeted expenses from the area and maintain in good state the assets of the assigned company resources to the position (Car, Computer, etc.)
- ESH: Raise the level of compression and compliance with applicable rules, rules and procedures
Encourage and support continuous improvement in ESH aspects.
REQUIREMENTS:
Chemical Engineer or related, Diploma or Master degree desirable or related, Marketing or similar with strong knowledge in personal care, feed, food, agriculture
+ 5 years experience in Chemical Industry in charge of sales and technical advising directly with the customer, knowledge and participation in technical marketing events and projects regarding the products of the company, management of annual budgets, diverse industries to serve
Excellent skills to prioritize, easy to speech, empathy, self-controlled, Tolerance to frustration, Criteria
Business communication skills – Spanish /Advanced English
