| POSITION TITLE: Assistant Professor of Biology REPORTS TO: Math & Science Division Chair, Dr. Katy Everett POSITION SUMMARY: The Division of Science and Mathematics at Eureka College invites applications for a full-time position in Biology at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting August 2026. The successful candidate will teach 24 credits annually, along with assisting in advising biology, clinical lab science, and pre-professional majors and occasionally mentoring senior thesis projects as part of the college’s Honors Program. The biology faculty may be required to participate in the college’s interdisciplinary programs including first year seminar or 10 Essentials (general education) science courses at Eureka College. This position has the potential to be offered as a 1-year Visiting Assistant Professor position (with the potential for becoming tenure-track) if degree qualifications and/or preferred experience are not met on day one.
