POSITION TITLE: Dean of Enrollment Management REPORTS TO: President POSITION SUMMARY: Provides the strategic direction and leadership for the Admissions Department and implementation of a forward-thinking, results-oriented recruitment plan that aligns with institutional priorities. This position will lead a highly-collaborative, data-informed effort to achieve recruitment goals and serve as a collaborative partner with other departments in retention efforts to ensure the College maximizes enrollment and improves graduation rates in accordance with institutional needs. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: Manage and supervise Admissions Department staff. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance: rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION: Essential: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university Desirable: Master’s degree EXPERIENCE: Essential: Three to five years in admissions with two years as an assistant or associate director/dean. Desirable: Five to 10 years in admissions with at least three years as a director/dean or associate/assistant director/dean of Admissions.
