Job Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate flow of parts and materials to support production and customer shipments. This includes receiving incoming parts, maintaining line-side inventory, replenishing production areas, updating MRP records, and preparing finished products for outbound shipping to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Receive incoming parts and materials

o Unload trucks, inspect for damage /accuracy, verify against Purchase Orders, and document receipts in Epicor ERP system

· Check and maintain inventory

o Perform cycle counts, monitor stock levels (including line-side bins/workstations). Identify discrepancies and resolve shortages.

· Replenish parts line-side

o Transport and restock materials using forklifts, pallet jacks or carts to support just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing processes

· Enter and update records in Epcior ERP system

o Input receiving/shipping data, issue materials to production, adjust inventory and process transactions for accuracy

· Stage materials for production and remove finished goods or empty containers from the line

· Prepare products for shipment

o Pick and pack finished products, label packages, build pallets/crates, generate shipping documentation and stage/load outbound orders for customer delivery

· Maintain clean, organized warehouse and production area, following all safety protocols

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

· High school diploma or GED

· Forklift certification preferred

· Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics or shipping/receiving roles

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Must be able to effectively communicate and work with all levels of the organization

· Must be a team player.

· Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills

· Must be able to multi-task and swap priorities easily.

· Previous experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
