As an IT Professional, you’ll play a critical role in managing and optimizing our Customer Management Systems (CMS) and Inventory Management Systems. You’ll leverage your technical expertise to integrate and transition systems, ensuring seamless operations as we scale and create reporting for management. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain current CMS and Inventory Management Systems (IMS/ERP), ensuring reliability and efficiency
• Lead the integration, migration, and transition to new IMS system, supporting scalability and operational growth
• Use SQL Server and SQL language to design, query, and optimize databases for business-critical functions
• Leverage Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Access, to develop custom tools and streamline workflows
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
• Provide end-user support, training, and technical documentation as needed
• Contribute to the customization and management of SugarCRM
• Utilize Jira to track tasks and projects
• Overseeing and uploading tax information from orders to TaxJar

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Customer Management Systems and Inventory Management Systems, including system integration and transitions
• Proficiency in SQL Server, with strong skills in SQL language to develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support data analysis and business processes
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Access for automation and tool development
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and address business needs in a fast-paced environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve database, system, and application issues
• Familiarity with SugarCRM products is a significant advantage
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity and understanding of taxes and the reporting needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working in a fast-paced or startup-like environment

Location:

This position is based in East Peoria, Illinois and and involves occasional in-person office hours. Salary is commensurate with experience.
