Commerce Brokerage Service, Inc. is a subsidiary of Commerce Bank and a full-service brokerage and advisory firm. For over 30 years, Commerce Brokerage Financial Advisors have been committed to working with clients to help them realize their dreams and reach their financial goals. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer focused individual for a Financial Advisor opportunity supporting our Peoria, IL market.
Essential Functions
Manage an existing client book of business with recurring revenue
Partner with internal team members to generate new business opportunities
Contact customers to introduce your planning, investment and insurance services
Leverage digital tools to enhance your client’s experience, including MoneyGuidePro, eSignature and SalesForce
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of the brokerage and financial services industry
Strong ability to build client relationships and sell financial services
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
5+ years related financial services experience required
FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses, and Life & Health licenses required. Clean CRD required.
