Finance Clerk

The City of Pekin is currently accepting applications for a Finance Clerk to perform customer service and finance related duties including walk ins and phone calls for City Hall. This position will be responsible for calculating and processing self-reported taxes, issuing licenses and permits, processing accounts receivable and accounts payable and assisting with various other finance functions. This position will report to the Finance Director.

This is a union position with the Teamsters Local 627 that has a contractual rate of pay at $28.31 per hour.

Normal working hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Testing for bookkeeping, accounting and customer service will be required.
