Administrative Assistant

The purpose of this position is to serve as the first point of contact for the City of Pekin residents at City Hall.

This position will also provide administrative support to staff including but not limited to answering the phone, maintaining appointment schedules, and performing all data entry and cash receipts. The Administrative Assistant prepares and files city liens with the Tazwell County Clerk's Office and other duties as assigned.

Normal working hours for this position will be Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM but will be subject to change depending on the operational need of the organization.
