About the position:

The Client Service Manager is part of the core team that will manage a case from admission to post-discharge. This position requires strong presentation skills to communicate our program model and treatment philosophy to families and other external providers. This position also necessitates organizational skills to manage files and paperwork deadlines. Providing up to date information regarding the client in a variety of systems such as RedCap, MyEvolv, etc. are essential elements of this position. Building positive relationships with the client, family, and funding source are imperative to drive successful outcomes.

Job Function:

In conjunction with the Intake and Client Services Coordinator, this position manages and coordinates the delivery of treatment services to clients and families from admission through discharge and aftercare. In this role, one would be a liaison to the referral source and would assist that referral source with the management of the case requirements during the youth’s tenure at CHAIL. This may include Administrate Case Reviews, Permanency or Criminal Court, School Registration, Completion of Admission and Annual Consents, Engagement in monthly Staffings, Participation in Child and Family Team Meetings, and more.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social services or a bachelor's degree in any other field with 2 years' experience in a clinical mental health or human services facility.
  • Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license & vehicle.
  • Experience working with children who have experience trauma in the form of neglect, abuse, sexual violence, etc.
  • Ability to implement de-escalation trainings including physical restraint when necessary (training provided upon hire).
  • Physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job related issues and stress.
  • Pass and be able to practice TCI and restraining measures as needed.
